Amazing Skies

My chosen home is beautiful. The skies can be breathtaking.

Last night I was out, and luckily had my camera.

I was awestruck.

In the northwest a small thunder storm storm was rolling through.

In the southeast the sky was quiet.

Nearly every shot here is natural light, only minor tweaks on a few.

There are so many because I couldn't choose...

every shot was taken within two miles of the farm.

Oh Deer!

Imagine my surprise when I walked onto my porch tonight to discover some new 'sheep' in the pasture.

Total there were 3 fawn, two doe and a nice sized buck. Just a family out for dinner with the neighbors!

One of the pleasures of having your very own puppies is the ability to torture them at every turn by taking photos. Tonight (Day 2) we needed to put a fresh towel down in the bed, and so I needed to occupy the pups whilst Alina changed the crate towel.
Sounded like a perfect opportunity for a photo op!

A Day of Frosty Fog

If you have never seen frozen fog, this is what it looks like. The day was very foggey and well below freezing so the wet fog froze on to all sorts of things!
